It happened to Joey often enough, writing a story about a particular theme, or no theme at all. All of a sudden there would be a toilet, demanding attention, demanding to be the story's centre: its setting, location, topic and drama. Alas, Joey is writing her first novel, Toilet (in German).
In English, Joey is currently working on her short story collection, Sex You Can Read.
Ranging from disturbing to disarmingly tender, the stories affront the reader with new takes on gender and power issues in the erotic domain.
